University of Houston, School of Art

The University of Houston School of Art offers several degree opportunities, each one positively strengthening the culture of the school and the community relationships.

The building, in which the school is housed, is defined as Brutalist architectural style. The style is characterized by modular elements that form masses representing specific functional zones and associated with socialist utopian ideology.

This Viewbook for the school uses the building design as an organizational metaphor to organize a complex program system with many levels of information in a clear, accessible and comprehensible form. It follows the UH graphic standards, and appeals to a wide range of viewers—students, parents, and donors.
